LongRun Thoroughbred Retirement Society is seeking a barn worker to help Saturdays and Sundays. LongRun is home to over 60 retired racehorses and we rehabilitate and prepare these horses for adoption as riding horses in a second career. If you love thoroughbreds, then this job is for you! Daily tasks include feeding, turnout, mucking, sweeping, regular barn chores as well as some outdoor farm related activities such as trimming, cleaning water troughs, fence repair and basic horse first aid and care. Hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm with a one hour paid lunch.  The position is primarily weekends, however extra shifts are often available during the week!
