HORSE HANDLER POSITION

Job Posting: Experienced Horse Handler/ Barn Assistant in Central Okanagan

Schedule: 4-5 days/week (inc. Saturday and Sunday)

Location: West Kelowna, BC

Start date:  currently accepting applications in August’26 – position is year-round

We are a Thoroughbred breeding farm looking for an experienced and responsible individual to help with horse handling and horse care. 

This is a position best suited for someone with previous horse handling experience, who is fit and familiar with handling young horses, racehorses and/or sport horses.

Our dedicated team works together to care for racehorses (active and restarted) as well as retired racehorses and their foals. The work also includes a range of shared general farm care duties including foaling, exercise management, turnouts, feeding and medical care.

Hourly wage will be based on horse handling experience with a minimum of 3 years (starting at $22-$25/hr)
