Gemini Thoroughbred Farm is looking for 3 Thoroughbred Exercise Riders for the 2023 season at Woodbine Racetrack, 555 Rexdale Blvd, Etobicoke, Ontario. The job stats Mar 1, 2023 to Dec 20, 2023. Applicants must have 3 to 5 years experience with Thoroughbred racehorses, the ability to teach young skills to race safety and effectively, maintain conditioning on older horses, detect lameness problems, suggest changes to the training regime to benefit individual horses, clean and maintain tack and equipment used in training and racing. Must be physically fit. Salary is $18.75/hr – 40 hr week. Indigenous, newcomers and youth can apply.
