Hill Haven Stable is looking for a new member to our team. We are a show stable in the Erin Hillsburgh area and require a live in barn manager. Beautiful furnished one bedroom apartment included in salary. Ideal candidate aspires to build a career in the horse industry. Various multi discipline professionals regularly on site , including show jumping, previous Olympic competitors and several top vets and farriers. Owner is a full time dressage coach with an eventing background and EC dressage judge. This is a full time position whose duties include daily feeding, mucking and turn out with other staff members. This is a mid sized barn with a maximum of 14 horses.Additional duties include management of feed, shavings and hay orders, facility and grounds upkeep, administering medications, basic first aid care, organizing farrier appointments and keeping medical records. Experience working in a professional barn an asset. Ability to handle tractors for ring and grounds maintenance an asset.A valid drivers license and vehicle required.
