C. Day Phillips Racing is looking for (1) Grooms to start as soon as possible. This is a permanent, full time position.  Salary $17 to $23 per hour depending on experience, based on 35 to 44 hour work week.

A Thoroughbred racetrack groom is responsible for the care of 4 to 5 horses daily. These responsibilities include cleaning stalls, brushing and bathing the horses, bandaging legs and assisting with treatments of the horses.  Applicants must be willing to start very early each morning, including weekends and some evenings. Must be a team player and able to handle a fast paced environment. Heavy lifting will be required.

Experience: 3 to 5 years experience grooming thoroughbred racehorses at a racetrack.
