Wage:                         $26.00 per hour, with an overtime rate of $(26.00 x 1.5)  per hour above                                       40 hours per week

 

Vacation:                     14 days of paid vacation

 

Language required:     English, spoken and written

JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position: 

 

·         Maintain facilities and infrastructure daily, including riding arena and manure bin.

·         Conduct general “fix-it” maintenance tasks related to facilities and equipment.

·         Coordinate with electricians and carry out tasks including water delivery, manure removal, shavings deliveries

·         Remove manure from paths, arenas and paddocks

·         Undertake heavy lifting responsibilities, specifically related to jumps and other equipment.

·         Transport horses and equipment to local shows.

·         Run errands as required

 

REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience: 

 

·         Experience with handling horses is required 

·         Experience driving a tractor

·         Ability to do some heavy lifting
