We are looking for a mature, responsible individual who want to work with many of Canada’s top thoroughbred racehorses in a serene and scenic environment. 

The person will assist with the daily care of 50+ retired thoroughbreds ages 3-26! Aside from daily barn chores such as turnout, mucking, sweeping and cleaning, rehabilitation programs and adoptions, several times a year the farm hosts events and you might be asked to participate in farm tours, media shoots, event setup, equine assisted learning and therapy sessions. All while helping transition many of these deserving equine athletes into new careers and forever homes.

Farm maintenance work might also be required such as: mending fences, cutting grass, bush hogging etc. 

Hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm with a 1 hour paid lunch, 5 days a week. Work on every other weekend is required. Wages starting at $17.50/hr paid biweekly for 40 hrs per week. Start date is as soon as possible.
