We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable groom to handle daily care and maintenance of 5-6 horses for one family within a show barn. Time would be spent at home barn in the Pickering area as well as at Gold shows in Ontario and the US and possibly winter season in Florida.

Skills Required:

– Strong time management

– Excellent horsemanship skills, including handling, lunging, grooming, and tacking up horses

– Strong attention to detail to ensure the health and well-being of the horses

– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also work within a team environment with other grooms and trainers

– Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members, trainers, and veterinarians

– Excellent organization and maintenance of tack and equipment

– G drivers license and valid passport required
